I paint what I haven't figured out how to say yet.

These are the ones that made it out

The masks, the checkerboard, the gold — these are the recurring elements. A visual language built to say what Black womanhood carries, performs, survives, and chooses.

Commission

Some of these started as a feeling I couldn't name. If you have one of those, we should talk.

I take a small number of commissions each year.

Not every request is the right fit — and I'll tell you that honestly if it isn't. But if something in this work is calling to you, reach out. Tell me what you're holding. We'll go from there.

  • You reach out. Tell me what you're holding — a feeling, a space, a person, a moment you want to keep.

I'll tell you honestly if I'm the right person to make it.

  • Every commission is a conversation before it's a painting.

We figure out together what the work needs to be — the size, the feeling, the weight of it. From there I'll give you a timeline and we move.

  • Pricing is based on size, complexity, and timeline.

I don't list prices here because no two pieces are the same. Reach out and we'll talk through it.

  • I take a small number of commissions each year.

Not because of scarcity — because each one gets my full attention. If the timing isn't right I'll tell you, and we can talk about what's next.
