They are both in love, both trying. His love language is physical: his eyes glance toward the bedroom, his body offering the closeness he knows how to give. Hers is proximity: she tries to settle into a relaxed posture on his lap, looking for the softness of being held. The body language is borderline uncomfortable — two people speaking past each other in real time, still loving each other, still unsure how to be loved in return.
